I cannot attest to the level of justice or fairness of the court here, but it was a nice stop off. The historic courthouse is on the National register of historic places and may be visited during certain times when open. Furthermore, the grounds have a memorial to the soldiers of Sussex County who passed in the War Between the States, The Great War, WWII, and the Korean War, and some really massive and cool swamp white oak trees. I was able to use the restroom in the court (May it “pees” the court) since the area has virtually no public deaf rooms available, which I was very happy about (the sheriff deputies were very nice). Worth a stop if you’re just passing through, cheers.
