I'm a young Hispanic woman with many tattoos and a northern accent. When it comes to the law I usually know better than to test my luck, especially in the south. But on the day I was passing through this county I decided to not pay attention and test my luck anyways. When I initially could not make it to the hearing it was easy to get a hold of the court house and people I needed to notify to request a continuance. I had a fair process. My ruling was fair. The judge was honest and seemed to have what was just in mind even with the officer and district attorney there pushing him to make an example of me. The courthouse was cute and easy to find. The people working inside were very friendly and helpful. It was very small but I'm sure that's because it's in a small town. All and all this was one of the best and most fair experiences I've had with the courts.
