Figure out Maryland probate
Very horrifying experience. I had a court date here and was pulled over along my travels to get here, causing my being late to court. My first thought was to contact this court to immediately inform them of my situation in advance which would lead me to arrive late to my hearing. I was asked for my name, location, the officer name on traffic ticket received and time of arrival. I gave clerks office contact all info as requested, and was assured that I'd be fine as long as I provided proof of traffic violation documentation being in hand when I got there. I hung up my phone feeling better about entire situation, just to find out once walking through metal detectors inside courthouse, I was being detained for warrant issued from judge conducting hearing I was scheduled to be at, and by this point, I was only 30min late arriving to court. So by this point, I gathered that obviously the contact person I spoke to on phone reporting my late situation to never actually relayed this info to the judge or prosecutors in the court room I'd been scheduled for that morning to even inform anyone at all. And my documentation of the traffic ticket received was never even given a glance also.
