Absolutely, the worst clerk in the state of New Mexico! Rude and lazy!! I was denied public records because an e-mail needed to be paid for before it could be sent.
My experience in dealing with the clerk himself Mike. M. Was the worst ever. He did not have aswers to my questions, nor did his staff, who were very rude. Because of our disagreement I asked him who he answers to, he said no one . It's people like Mike and his staff that give government a bad name.
Angie helped me when I was angry and tired. She was patient and resolved an issue that was another departments problem.
Went there to register to vote and doors were locked prior to closing. An employee stated "they" have started to do that on Friday's. I called first, I could have been told about the locked doors, as I almost walked away. This policy decourages voters to register and make their vote count, it is an election year, by the way.
The staff is always very helpful in getting deeds to obscure rural land properties. I also like the 1960s (?) style and design of the building's interior. Lastly, parking is convenient.
