Josh McNatt was more than helpful and professional with handling an issue for us over speeding tickets that were paid 6 years ago and never reported to the state office for out of state residents even though this isn’t his department. However, if speaking with Michelle or Renee in the office that handles such affairs as public service servants be prepared for them to treat you like a criminal and avoid your call for resolution. I think the department that these ladies work in could really use up to date training on speaking to the public. This department refused to pay for a stamp to send the correct documents to revolve an issue although electronic payment was offered to cover the cost for services rendered. (The cost of a stamp and time to walk to the mailbox) This department does not accept electronic payments in 2021. We own our own business and the cost to process an electronic payment for a stamp would be about .02 and we are more that happy to cover such expensive cost if offered. Many other states do accept electronic payments for titles, drivers license and vehicle registrations with a 2.5% fee added to cover their cost of processing. I would like to see my hometown advance to the point of other state agencies in 2021 and actually provide good public service for the positions they hold of county/city officials.
