Marriage license LOST by whomever opened the mail at clerk office since the Post Master at the USPS location where claims I handled delivered it to, says they do not have it. Now clerk ofc states I have to come to pay their office again & an additional $30.00. Originally paid $89.01. Penalized me and not my fault. Ridiculous!! Says they don't lose documents. I'm going to contact the managers boss & file freedom of information act to see how many other people this has happened to & how often. Sounds like this may be a way to generate revenue or lack of caring by those in clerk office. Losing Very important docs. How would they feel, if they were told the same. I have copy but they will not accept. So more $$, time & signatures to get this Done AGAIN! Something not right here.
Some staff when you go through metal detectors need to be more welcoming.. They are not. But the people I've dealt with for child support have been pretty decent with providing helpful information. There is an issue though with coordinating records between county and other internal offices.. No one is ever on the same page. This office handles traffic, criminal, child support, civil cases, juvenile delinquency. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Not a good experience the bias of the courtroom experience was unbelievable. I personally felt an ism while in family Court, and can see how men and men of color get treated differently. Hopefully in time god will help them realize that all people are created equally, unfortunately it is too late for me and I suffered for my skin and sex.
