I have been to this location twice and it is never crowded. Each time I have been seen within 5 minutes of checking in to the kiosk. Be sure to make an appointment online for quick service. It took less than 10 minutes to get a marriage license. You can also have a wedding ceremony here. The location is quiet and not very busy, so having a ceremony here may be a better alternative to the downtown location. The room is pretty small. There is a decorated arch for pictures. You can exchange rings and write your own vows, or just follow the script provided by a deputy clerk. Ceremony is 30 dollars and quick.
If you must come to pay a citation, it is very easy here. Sign in with your phone number at the electronic kiosk and it will give you a numbered ticket. When your number is called, you will go inside the office to a window where a very nice clerk will help you with whatever you need. I was so happy not to have to go to downtown Orlando's office!
It doesn't seem fair to me that the officers are hiding behind a tree, to set fines, thus complying with the quota imposed by their county. I am in Orange County, far from its jurisdiction. There are many criminals on the street, where they would be useful. Not looking for hardworking people and damaging their record. I have been without traffic violations for fifteen years. Service exceeded my expectations. Based on Google rating and other reviews, I anticipated an unfavorable experience but I scheduled my appointment online for 5 Passports ahead of time (9:00am) and arrived 5 minutes early. The receptionist at the info desk reviewed our paper work to ensure we had everything we needed and then instructed us to sign in via the self-service kiosk. Be sure to select the "I have an Appointment" option if you scheduled one online. Kiosk can issue a numbered ticket or you can enter your cell phone number and receive a text. We waited about 5 minutes to have our number called. The clerk who processed our applications was friendly and knowledgeable. She identified a couple of minor edits we had to make to our paper work, took our pictures, and we we were done in about 30 minutes. That's passports for 2 adults, one 17 yr old, and 2 minors under 16 in less than 45 minutes in and out. OUTSTANDING! Be sure to read up on required documentation, forms of acceptable IDs, and payment requirements (You'll need a check or money order for the payment to State Department but payment to the Clerks office can be made via Debit/credit card) and you too should he in and out in no time!
