These people were wonderful! I called trying to trace a citizenship record from 1951 and even though they couldn’t find it they were extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommend the for questions pertaining to records!
The court house is not always a fun place to visit. However, I have been going here since I was 17 with my first job and the staff has always been helpful. Leave any attitude outside. Most negative reviews come from people who go in with a bad attitude. If you are polite and patient, they will help you with whatever you need! All courthouses are overwhelmed so be patient and they will help you in anyway they can.
Circuit court jury selection feels very lazily managed. Have to call after 6 p.m. to find out if you must appear the next morning. Then having to call the next day at noon to find out you need to be there in a couple hours. At least let us know when we would actually be expected if we had to come in. You basically need to take the week off work to fit the courts schedule, even if you dont ever have to actually serve.
Forget having your concerns addressed when someone's on vacation. Drags their feet on everything you ask. You will be waiting days for answers.
