Pleaded not guilty to going 85 in a 70 on hwy i-35, I was going 79 on cruise control. The judge looked me in my face and said do not waste my time and take it to trial. He looked at my previous "traffic records" to determine what should happen. Couple seatbelts tickets, and speeding tickets, then he seen my felonies I got in 2012 and that was it for him. So I had to plead guilty to get what he wanted. Still had pay the $264.00. The cop didn't show up to speak for himself , so some advice if pleaded not guilty, expect the judge to get upset and give you a harder time.
We all know most government offices are unhelpful, inefficient and rude but this office stands out among them all in those three categories. You can't do anything about it though. There isn't a competing Murray County Court Clerk so go in there when you must and be mistreated.
This court is very currupt! Court operates as business and exhibits numerous conflicts of interest, rather in the interest of justice. The judge, DA, and shreriffs deputies are under federal investigation for suspected extortion and exploition of Oklahoma citizens and foreign visitors through frivolous fines, unlawful arrests, and other Civil Rights violations for profit. Know Your Rights; Take Them Down!
