I'm sure the people here are wonderful, but the efficiency is definitely lacking. Why ask for contact information on certain forms if NO ONE is going to contact you, your attorney or the designated pick up service and you have to call and ask if papers are ready, wait 2+ days for filings to be accepted (or not), etc. I get work loads can get heavy. Hire more people, upgrade technology to streamline, training, there has to be something to make things better.
i went there for passport application. process was smooth and person attending knows what to do and efficiently completed the process. i am happy to see the flow and again this is my experience only based on passport application.
I worked with the District Clerk, County Clerk, and the Court System for years. Whether in law as a Paralegal or Bonding and Forfeiture Retrieval. Good group of people. In 30+ years, all employees, Clerk's, Coordinators and Honorable Judges have treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. Good leadership is what makes teamenship a healthy positive environment. I thank all of you and I must say this.....I miss you guys...... Best regards, Dessa Rae Munday
They certainly are not knowledgeable on the open records act . They took 8 days to tell me that I couldn't have a record that I knew was public record , which I have since received (elsewhere) they clerk even asked me why I wanted the record which according to the open act policy, she is NOT SUPPOSED TO DO. They were nice but not helpful and they should really stay on top of their own policies and procedures.
