I have received a juror summons and can not serve because my wife has Parkinson's disease and I am her care taker. I have placed many calls to the number listed on the summons for Jan East. The number is 272-4824. I have left my home phone number and my cell phone number every time that I have called since no one has ever answered the phone. I called the main number and was told by a not very nice person that Jan East was in her office and should answer the phone. I asked to be transferred to Jan and the operator refused to do it. I called Jan East several more times after I was told that she was in her office and still she didn't answer. It seems to me that if you list a number for you to call if you can't serve on a jury that it should be answered or at least return the call.
