Always helpful! Love small towns it always makes this much easier. I am curious as to why the website says open on Saturdays and it has been closed the last three weeks I have tried. If not open on Saturdays anymore. Please update the website so we aren't going to town to find out its closed.
It's just a bunch of people talking about Facebook with their co-workers instead of actually working. Nobody wears a mask and they all say they don't have too because of a 2'x2' piece of glass between them and the guests with no other protection.
Every office that I've dealt with over nearly fifty years have had a friendly, professional staff. I've never left the courthouse with any ill feelings from any business visits that I've had there. I've left with empty pockets after paying property taxes several times, but, with no ill feelings. My wife, who grew up in Louisville, couldn't believe the difference in the customer service. Comparing government centers between Garrard and Jefferson Counties after her first visit following our marriage twenty six years ago she said, "No hour long lines and no rude people to deal with. Is it like that all of the time or did I catch a good day?"
The PVA office & the Clerk went over & above to help me research some property. I was a little intimidated but they made the experience a lot of fun. The ladies were very helpful & friendly. If everyone in Garrard County is that nice I cannot wait to move there!
