I received and then called about multiple mailed property tax docs with unrelated names of people that have never lived at my property which is in a different county. I was told 'I don't understand why you're concerned." Thankful I don't live in Fulton County, fraud is of no concern. The lady wasn't exactly a shining light of intelligence either.
I got a speeding ticket in this county. 10 mph over the limit. I had no violations AT ALL for 25 years. Never been in jail, never broke the law. I’m a good citizen who goes out of their way to help others. In my profession, I save lives, and assist families through difficult medical decisions. I went to court, asked for court supervision and was DENIED, and then charged court cost on top of the ticket fine. I ended up paying over 200.00! They are all about money!
Why a courthouse feels justified in taking cellphones upon entry without any sort of public notification or explanation I cannot figure out. It seems to me an unnecessary demonstration of power & a violation of my rights as an innocent bystander required to attend court today. Also the sherriff was rude and indignant. I intend to file a formal complaint with his superiors. Law enforcement officers are not above civilians. In fact we are the ones paying their salaries. I was disappointed in his mouth and demeanor.
