I had a good experience at this location 5/2018. I was in & out in 10min. I downloaded & completed the paperwork at home and had photo taken in advance at Walgreens. All I really had to do was drop off paperwork, have it notarized on site, and pay. I couldn't believe it when my passport arrived in only about 10 days. Generally, government workers are not known for customer service but that being the case I thought the staff was cordial.
The Ellis County Clerk's Office is really great. As an Ellis County attorney, I am there often, and I can say that the service is gracious and fast. When you don't know the answer to something or need help with anything, the staff are willing to help.
The staff are very professional and took good care of me when I showed up. Its hard to get good service when it comes to the government but this was n to the case. Thanks
I called this morning on the morning of 02/04/2019 and the phone was answered by district court staff of Ellis County, and i hate to speculate, but I'm sure I was hung up on. I began my question to the clerk's office and was followed by a tone. I proceeded to call back, then I was swiftly sent to voicemail repeatedly. These are legal matters that affect the lives of many and if the personnel of this district clerks office doesn't care enough about people's live, they should find another profession. I wish that i could upload the audio to show that I have to motive to fabricate such a claim. This is a court clerks office, not a call center. These people have no business presiding over important legal matters of other individuals lives if they are just to answer the inquiries of people within this county, just do your job. Trust me, I wouldn't call this court if i didn't have to. Awfully rude, they can be with lack of professionalism and integrity in what they do.
