My name is Bryan. I wanted to take the time to write this much needed review. I was traveling yesterday on US highway 83 hitch hiking south trying to get to Oakley Kansas to do some work. I wasn't having very good luck at all. A young police officer stopped and did a routine check on me. He was very professional and new to the force. He appeared to be a good guy. He went out of his way to help me. He coordinated an interdepartnental jurisdictional courtesy ride to the county line. He told me that shortly a sheriff Deputy would come pick me up and transport me. That's when I had the opportunity to meet Deputy David Obermeyer. We talked and I found him to be a caring genuine Man who takes his job seriously and likes to help people. He served 8 years in the Marines. This man is a true American in every sense of the word and as citizens we need to respect and be grateful we have solid brothers such as Deputy Obermeyer to protect and serve our public and towns. Definately good people through and through. He sure helped me and made me feel comfortable. Local law enforcement does indeed do alot of good things to help local citizens beyond the scope of the norm. Many times this goes un noticed. Just wanted to write this review and let folks know they have a good Deputy there and I'd be pleased to buy him a couple rounds at the local pub someday and wouldn't care who was around
