had to come pay a speeding ticket and while a speeding ticket is never fun, it was my fault so..Overall, it was a quick easy process. Upon entering the building, masks are required and you have to answer a short health questionnaire. A photograph is taken of you (I had to pull my mask down briefly) and after going through the metal detectors I was quickly directed to where I needed to go. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was also clean and sanitary which is a huge plus during the Covid19 out breaks:)
While waiting outside the court room, 2 Asian men were waiting as well. I heard them ask the plaintiff simple questions. And he was so dis respectful and belittling to the men. He kept asking them if they understood English and then made them step outside. The 2 men were asking simple questions. So saddened and hurt to see people dis respect someone because they are not from our country. Actually sickening. Not happy at all with this visit.
Very unprofessional staff. Arrived to speak on behalf of a license address discrepancy and before being given the opportunity to clear my citation, they imposed paying the fine without my right to defend myself. I had to raise hell to get my moment with the solicitor. Once they gave me the chance they immediately dismissed my fine. How many other tax paying citizens do these mean old ladies strong arm into paying bogus fines? What a joke! They need to rip off the fine citizens of this county to pay for that giant courthouse.
Everyone is friendly and helpful but the courtroom benches are very uncomfortable.
