Called to inquire the information for Austin to be able to send forms to have my sons last name changed, and the first representative I spoke with was very unhelpful stating they don’t have any paperwork in the office, nor can they send out any paperwork and referred me to go to the website, which wasn’t what I was inquiring about. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she disconnected the call. Called back and spoke with Emily she stated the same thing which I told her the website doesn’t give the information where to send information to Austin, I asked to speak with a supervisor yet again, I was put on hold for not even a minute and she stated all the supervisors were busy and transferred me to a different department. Spoke with a women named Melissa she was very helpful even though it wasn’t her department, she tried to help the best she could and I really appreciated it.
I really don't understand as to why they still have not come into the 21st century. I have been trying to obtain a copy of my decree and I have to mail in payment and have them mail it to me whenever they have the time. I did this once and never got the documents I needed and never got my money back that they processed. I live 3 hours away and have been reduced to asking a friend that still lives in the area, to pick up the the decree to make sure that I do receive it this time.
The WORST court system I have ever dealt with. They are uneducated and rude! Good luck if you have to deal with them
Slow, slow, slow as molasses. To get anything done is a miracle. Tried to contact the district clerk for two days....no one answered the phone. Does anyone work there? It's ridiculous.
Very friendly and professional staff. I'm treated with dignity and respect every time I come. Fast service and great customer care.
